Weruva, a globally renowned brand, holds the top position in the North American market for cat wet food. As the official importer and distributor of Weruva products in Korea since September 2020, our company has been actively involved in the domestic pet market under the name 'Weruva Korea.' To support our diverse activities, we have developed a comprehensive brochure to showcase the unique offerings of Weruva.

About Weruva

The name 'Weruva' was born from the combination of three founding cats' names: Webster, Rudi, and Vanessa. These cats played a significant role in inspiring the creation of a brand that prioritizes high-quality, natural ingredients for pet food. The founders wanted a name that was unique, memorable, and represented their commitment to providing the best nutrition for pets. Thus, "Weruva" emerged as a brand that embodies their dedication to crafting wholesome and delicious cat food products.

We have summarized the unique differentiating factors of Weruva that we can highlight in the Weruva Korea brochure. Here are the three key differentiators:

  1. Unique Brand Name and Slogan: Weruva has a distinctive and meaningful brand name, and we have developed an effective slogan to convey its essence and introduce the brand.
     

  2. Handcrafted Premium Natural Food: Weruva takes pride in handcrafting premium natural pet food with love and expertise. We use high-quality ingredients to provide exceptional taste and nutrition in every meal.
     

  3. Catering to Pet Preferences with a Wide Range of Products: Weruva offers a variety of products to cater to the unique preferences of pets. With different flavors and textures to choose from, pet owners can select the perfect meal that their furry family members will truly enjoy.

Slogan

We have created the slogan "We Are You = We R U" for the Weruva brand. This slogan encapsulates the idea that as pet owners, we understand the hearts of fellow pet owners, and we are part of the same pet-loving family. It conveys the feeling of Weruva, a brand that creates products with the same love and care as pet owners.

Character Design & Color

We have designed the characters Webster, Rudi, and Vanessa in a cute and playful doodle style, incorporating the main colors of the Weruva brand. These adorable characters capture the essence of Weruva and add a whimsical touch to the brand's visual identity.

Font Variation

Title Font: For the brochure titles and headings, we have used 'ImcreSoojin' for Korean headings and 'Baloo2' for English headings. These bold and rounded fonts capture attention and add a touch of cuteness to the design.
 

Body Text Font: To maintain readability, we have chosen a clean and modern font like 'IBM Plex Sans' for the body text. These fonts provide clarity and ease of reading, ensuring that readers can easily understand the content.
 

By combining these font variations, we aim to create a visually appealing and consistent design that effectively communicates the key messages of the Weruva brand.

Brochure Wireframing

We made wireframes based on the following content.

  1. Cover Page:

    • Weruva logo prominently displayed.

    • Engaging and visually appealing image representing the brand.

  2. Introduction:

    • Introduction to the Weruva brand, its values, and mission.

    • Highlight unique selling points and differentiating factors of Weruva products.

    • Include an attractive image that captures the essence of the brand.

  3. Product Showcase:

    • Create dedicated sections for different product categories (wet food, dry food, treats, etc.).

    • Include high-quality images of each product with clear descriptions and nutritional information.

    • Emphasize key features and benefits of each product category.

  4. Brand Story:

    • Share the story of Weruva brand, its founders, and their passion for creating high-quality pet food.

    • Use compelling visuals and storytelling techniques to captivate the readers.

    • Highlight the brand's commitment to natural ingredients and sustainable practices.

  5. Contact Information:

    • Provide clear contact information including phone number, email address, and social media handles.

    • Encourage inquiries, feedback, or requests for additional information.

    • Include the Weruva website URL for online purchases and further exploration.

Weruva Korea Instagram

To maintain a consistent brand identity, we have designed the official Instagram account of Weruva Korea to have a similar look and feel as the brochure. We followed the guidelines provided by the Weruva Korea's official Instagram marketer.

Visual Content:

  • We used product images and lifestyle photos featuring pets to introduce Weruva's products and connect with the target audience.

  • We maintained consistent color schemes, design elements, and fonts used in the brochure to ensure visual consistency.

  • Appealing graphics and illustrations were utilized to enhance overall visual appeal and captivate followers.

Story Highlights:

  • Story highlights were created to cover product categories, promotions, customer reviews, and behind-the-scenes stories.

  • Eye-catching cover images were used for each highlight to improve navigation and make it easier for users to access desired information.

Engagement and Interaction:​

  • Contests were organized, customer photos were shared, and heartwarming pet stories were featured to stimulate user-generated content.
